Boho Fashion Takes Batu Caves, KL Malaysia

When I thought of Kuala Lumpur for the first time, I was thinking of wearing maxi dresses, with flowy materials and vibrant colors. I was imagining of walking in the streets of Kuala Lumpur in a boho fashion and style, sleeves down to my elbows, length of the dresses almost dragging in the ground, fringe bag, and strappy sandals. Well what could be more perfect than a dress from Free People? What could be more perfect than wearing it while visiting a populous temple? The Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur, known as one of the most popular shrines outside India, huge and colorful was a perfect place.

We didn’t know shorts and mini skirts are not allowed up in the temple, so another advantage of the full length dress I was wearing because I didn’t have to pay for a piece of pashmina cloth to tie to my waist to cover my legs. Jeil is so cute wearing it. Perfect pashmina cloth tied up in her waist to match her outfit. Another boho outfit that was perfect for Batu caves.

How to get there:

From Bukit Bintang – we took the monorail at Imbi station to KL Sentral Station (RM3.10/person), change to KTM commuter to Batu Caves (RM2.60/person)
